What is the best butt workout at home for women?

I was looking online to find a good video to help my fellow women out of the gym and be able to tone their buttocks at home instead. This video from BeFit was a great workout of only 11 minutes. I really want the visitors of my website to be able to build a strong butt, thighs and core. This workout was perfect, and possible to perform from the comfort of your home.

It starts off slowly and increases in intensity with some VERY good basic exercises such as the hip bridge. But it doesn’t stop there, you’ll also be doing some more advanced exercises that really help build a stronger butt and core.

There are really some of the best butt exercises at home for women, so follow along and let that booty burn!

I know it looks easy, but after a while you’ll notice the burn and that’s when even the basic exercises begin to feel difficult.

  • Yoga mat
  • Chair
  1. The first exercises is simply the squat, a great butt exercise, no butt workout is complete without it. You simply bend your knees and perform the exercise along with the video.
  2. The second exercise is the Bulgarian split squat. This is the exercise that will require the chair. This is almost like a lunge, but you elevate the back foot on the chair, in order to move focus to the rear of the butt instead of your thighs.
  3. The third exercise is a lateral lunge with a dumbbell. This is a really butt buster that will get your thighs burning for sure. It’s simulating the move done in ice skating, and skaters are known for a great butt. This is WHY!
  4. The fourth exercise is a light stretch to get blood flowing.
  5. The fifth exercise Basic hip bridge. A powerful and effective exercise you can do anywhere. Great!
  6. The sixth exercise is a more difficult variation of the hip bridge. You will be pointing one of your toes toward the ceiling, adding resistance and complexion to a great basic exercise.
  7. The seventh exercise is the superman. A basic lower back move to help strengthen your lower back and improve posture.
  8. The eight exercise is the kick back. At this point you may start to really feel it burning. This is where to magic happens. The kick backs are great and powerful to build a better butt. There are a few variations here, which make it harder and after this you will slow down and get a few stretches in.

Do this workout a few times per week, but always let your body rest at least one day. That means you can perform this workout at home 2-3 times per week and get good results.
